For clients with vessels carrying aggressive and corrosive products where NBR and Viton are not suitable, we can supply the high grade Teflon® seat rings. These Teflon® seat rings have an excellent chemical resistance and lower coefficient of friction properties. The Teflon® seat rings can be pure material or filled with carbon, glass, graphite fibres with an improved abrasion and lower thermal expansion properties. In various situations the Teflon® seat ring must have a good suspension for a correct closing of the disc and for this situation we specially designed a seat ring with Teflon® jacket on rubber lining which is bonded to a steel ring.
