In Westerlo-Oevel the Japanese Kaneka disposes over a modern factory where specific intermediates, particularly for the plastics industries, are produced.

Within Kaneka welfare for the staff and the environment is a high priority. Within the production departments floors are regularly cleaned by hand (sweeping and shoveling). This is also relatively time consuming and hard work.

This way of working had to be improved and Kaneka found the solution after a demonstration of the robust powerful Madeko vacuum cleaner and decided to purchase this maintenance free machine. 

A lot of time has been saved and the optional tilting device for a forklift has improved the labor conditions. An additional advantage is that the Madeko vacuum cleaner can be quickly deployed in emergencies.
